As opposed to other type of gates, glass gates have a long life length. They are not as vulnerable to weather conditions as traditional fencing and will not rust and lose their safety features. Glass gates come in 3 different thicknesses’. 8 mm, 10 mm and 12 mm. We recommend using a thinner glass to put less stress on the hinges and latches however the choice is yours.
